Reviews have showed people are extremely satisfied with this Honeywell HW6200 Portable Generator. They are excited about the amount of power it generates and the number of appliances that manages to run off the power supplied. It is even big enough to run appliances in an entire office during a power cut.
One complaint was made regarding the fuel gauge. It does not register any fuel in the tank till the fuel tank is almost half full.
Portable Generator Reviews – Some reviewers think that the Honeywell HW7500E generator is cheaply made out of inferior materials. The float valve in the carburetor was frozen closed due to rust from the steel fittings in the float bowl. The screws holding the solenoid on the bottom of the float are made of soft metal and the cross points stripped out on both of them so they had to be removed with vice grips.
In addition, the starter motor doesn’t have enough torque to start the engine in cold conditions. It won’t pull it past the compression stroke even using synthetic 5W-30 motor oil.
